A Different Type of TCO - Part 2
Total Cost of Offshoring is a cost/benefit analysis of offshoring various operations such as technical support. Offshoring lowers support costs thanks to cheaper labor. TechWise studies have shown that technical support often greatly impacts customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. Two common complaints with offshore support are the technician is hard to understand and the technician cannot solve the problem. Poor technical support can turn dissatisfied customers into disgruntled customers.
